"So, I spend the day in church. I get home, grab the computer and I discover all hell has broken loose in Ukraine. I don't even miss the North American news services. Interesting times! All Russia and NAF need to do is watch and wait. Poroshenko cannot let this go. Or all the oligarchs will do this! Seize the part of Ukraine... Haven't they already?
But does the Hegemon know what to do? He must have had no clue about how fraction-ed Ukraine is, he only heard about "territorial integrity", but the country is a construct, he may be obliged to remake all of his strategy, although he had none, as he waits each morning to find out what Washington's snakepit of oligarchs fancies. Biden and Kerry's sons work for him so they could hardly be surprised.
Greed is greed. Oligarch Kolomoyskij, the governor of Dnepropetrovsk region in Ukraine realized that he stands to lose everything unless an agreement is reached with Russia (pro-Russia faction). Rational decision, but I don't think the ZioNazis in NY will go with this.
I think that is something most of the Ukrainian oligarchs must have realized: best business with Russian borders opened! The West will be only asking for money, for servicing a huge debt. Premier Minister Yatseniuk is falling into, and that will mean eventually that the oligarchs' ill-gotten fortune will go to the IMF and so on... Wasn't the auditor thrown off the case, owing to finding $2 billion of that particular gas company had disappeared in the last year, post Yanukovitch?
Is that why Nuland's phone buddy, Geoffrey Pyatt, was giving him a warning?
More information about Kolomoisky. Wasn't he involved in Odessa's civilians massacre, Trade Union Building 2 May 2014? Wasn't he involved in the MH17?Doesn't he employ Hunter Biden (son of the Vice President of the USA, Joe Biden)? Doesn't he employ Christopher Heinz, the step-son of the Secretary of State of the USA? Doesn't he employ Devon Archer, the finance manager of the Secretary of State of the USA?
Interesting times, but who is Soros and buddies going to back? Seriously interesting, especially as Kolomoysky employs Joe Biden's little boy (Vice President of the USA) and also the step-son and fund manager of John Kerry, Secretary of State USA.
Has Washington fallen out with Kolomoisky?
I think the idea was to privatize Ukrnafta so it would fall into the hands of Western investment funds. Poroshenko is in favor--he needs money for the war and other things, but Kolomoysky is against because that's his wallet!
Kolomoisky has lost half of his estate from this civil war and down to his last billion. Wasn't there an audit report on Uknafta, where it was discoverd a couple of billion has disappeared from Ukrnafta accounts, when Kolomoisky's man was in charge?
I wonder who will be taken out and the blame pinned on Putin? Kolomoisky or Poroshenko? Personally it will be a good day if Kolomoisky goes, together with his team of Nuland's NAZI Nutters. The USA does not know the meaning of loyalty once you have served your purpose.
The US ruling class (why just ZioNazis?} have profited from oligarchs like Kolomoysky in Latin and Central America for generations. This is nothing new to them. In Latin America Kolomoysky is a dime a dozen. Maybe new for Europe but now that the US is attempting to dominate the fragmenting European Union more will emerge as open and aggressive political servants of the empire.
Very very interesting... This robber baron, in looking after his fiefdom with pragmatic self interest, means he is not interested in the 'Nationalist' and US backed project of a 'sovereign Ukraine' entity run by oligarch competitors whose only raison d'être is continuous war against Russians and the Russian Federation and all that they stand for. This puts him in a defacto position of opposing continuous war against the East - that is PEACE - and for FEDERALIZATION! And he has forces to back this up! No wonder Jeffrey Pyatt is getting nervous. So who is a mere ambassador to lecture the Kolon? He employs Biden's idiot coke-head son and Kerry's step-son.
It's all fun and games ruining little peoples lives, but when Porky cut into
Kolomoyskiy's profits it becomes a different story. After all Kolomoisky is a more "senior" oligarch than Porky? Who is this Poro to meddle into my business? He's only worth $2bn! And Yats? A church rat! Time to change regime... or Jewish bankers, not knowing who is going to win, start playing double game?
I don't see Kolomoysky backing down on anything, personally. He declared a few weeks back that he would be the top man in Ukraine - didn't he say he'd be willing to be President? I can't remember how it was phrased, and I don't have a cite.
I see this as a game in which Poroshenko is advised by Washington, but Kolomoysky is advised by Tel Aviv. As seems pretty obvious, despite the saber-rattling, Ukraine cannot defeat NAF. We seem to be moving into the next phase, which is pure asset stripping.
Kolomoysky is really only saying, forget the military charade, there's not enough money in the war effort to be worth stealing anyway, especially compared with the bigger prizes about to be handed out - time now to shore up as much leverage and control of national assets, to play the best hand with the global carpetbaggers who are now ready to descend.
Poroshenko has locked himself into military and nationalist narratives - presumably to please his immediate handlers from the US. Kolomosysky, I would guess, sees the true situation more clearly - that money alone talks here.
I guess that Kolomoisky now judges that the military saber-rattlers of the empire will be told to fade to the background a little, as the money men come in for the real negotiations. Within this context, "peace" for the moment with Novorossia - a lost cause by any measure - makes good sense. A bold move.
I don't have an appreciation of the tax revenues staying in the regions - is this a way of starving Kiev of power? 'Kolomonkey' is a common thug, no more no less... one sniper - .308 round from 500m should do the trick.
This is not a challenge to the Ukrainian state. No such state exists in the modernist sense in central and western Ukraine. That Ukraine is an aggregate of quasi-feudal political infrastructures imposed on a brutal capitalist economic system of fundamental characteristics.
This is precisely the political economic formation optimum for the dying US empire. Welcome to the dog days of the future, folks! Even though what's happening could worsen the current situation, also could not help laughing at the "jungle law" bit! Kolomoisky is interested in business, and he understands that Donbass and not Kiev will be better in the end (they will have to pay IMF)....so he switched to Putin!
Too bad, I cannot see the faces of the ZioNazi neo-cons in Washington! Was it the result of Moscow soft power? The exceptionals are ONLY exceptionally stupid! Let's hope this is the beginning of the end for the junta and their U.S. & Israeli backers, that the country breaks apart! It should make reclaiming the rest of Novorussia easier.
I have been predicting (not especially brainy, I think everyone was predicting something of the kind) that something BIG would happen in Ukraine! Is this the beginning? I didn't expect such a frivolous TV series thread, but it is a start...
But Kolomoisky can't switch to Putin and Russia.....he's a wanted man there...will be thrown in Jail! And that is why you have to play the waiting game, the long game!
I wonder who covers for Kolomoysky. He has Israeli citizenship among others. Mossad? Rothschild?
Says it all about the Brits doesn't it? I like that Press TV show the Monarchy and the intro song "goodby to the crown". Perfect, that country is due for a big sh!t Storm if there ever was one.
Could this be the moment the US cuts Kiev loose? Or are we approaching the point when "new evidence" comes to light and Porky realizes his only hope of remaining in power is to throw Kolomoiskij under the bus and indict him for the deliberate shoot down of MH17???
This could help win back Russian support in exchange for a total withdrawal of Ukie forces from DPR & LPR territory perhaps? I'm willing to bet Porky would be willing to cut a deal with anyone to cut off the threat from Kolomoyskij.
Intriguing: Kiev's soap opera... Perhaps Kolomoysky's defiance even against coup/throne-maker Pyatt is because Netanhyahu is not far behind? But what is his bet: federalisation and tax control in his realm? What will the Novorossians says?
The original article:
"Kolomoysky seizes UKRNAFTA in Kiev, calls for federalization, hearts Novorossia, ignores US. Kolomoysky's militants seize Ukrnafta office in Kiev . By J.Hawk
Several news reports indicate that the headquarters of Ukrnafta, the country's largest oil extraction company, was taken over by Dnepr-1 battalion militants financed by Kolomoysky. This move comes after a similar take-over on Thursday of Ukrtransnafta, an oil transit company. What makes the most recent event all the more galling is that the HQ of the state-owned Ukrnafta is located in the center of Kiev.
Kolomoysky is only a minority shareholder in the enterprise. However, he was able to exercise de-facto control under rules which required 60% of shareholders' approval for any reform to be implemented, until the Rada passed a bill which lowered that requirement to 50% + 1 share, which de-facto and de-jure returned control of Ukrnafta to the Ukrainian government.
Kolomoysky evidently decided to challenge that ruling by reportedly barricading himself inside the building and using Dnepr-1 battalion to deny access. Some of the militants were seen carrying automatic weapons and were supported by an armored truck. Most recent reports indicated Dnepr-1 was welding steel barriers in place to secure the building, and that pro-Maidan Rada Deputy and journalist Mustafa Nayyim was beaten by Dnepr-1 militants when he questioned them.
Just to make things more interesting, Kolomoysky called for recognizing DPR and LPR as the de-facto authorities in Eastern Ukraine, in an apparent bid to prevent a two-front war against both Kiev and Novorossia. At the same time, Kolomoysky called for "financial federalization" of Ukraine, under which 90% of tax revenue would never leave the regions.
"Nationally conscious" Ukrainians don't quite know what to make of all this yet--Kolomoysky was a hero to them, and here he is, turning his power to bear against the Ukrainian state.
Of course, all of this took place on Sunday. On Monday Poroshenko will have to decide what to do in response to Kolomoysky's very busy day. Let's not forget that in the Thursday showdown he was the first to blink, allowing Kolomoysky to retain control of Ukrtransnafta and only issuing a reprimand in response to his armed take-over of Ukrtransnafta.
Moreover, just recently US Ambassador to Ukraine Jeffrey Pyatt lectured Kolomoysky on the unacceptability of "jungle law" approaches to political problems (funny how that was not a problem during the Maidan, eh?), a warning which Kolomoysky clearly ignored.
In the meantime, the junta is pretending nothing at all has happened. Minister of Interior Avakov insisted the folks in camouflage were part of a private security service hired by Ukrnafta, even though Ukrnafta representatives themselves were first to announce the gunmen were Dnepr-1. Incidentally, it's unlikely a private security firm would be allowed to tote Kalashnikovs. Moreover, if this is not Dnepr-1 or some other Kolomoysky-funded organization, why is Kolomoysky himself clearly on the scene? Last seen having the above-mentioned Mustafa Nayyem (a staunch critic of Kolomoysky and a Maidan die-hard) taken away by a car? Will Poroshenko back down again? Will Kolomoysky? Or will there be bloodshed in Kiev? And elsewhere?"
