Genetically modified (GM) foods: are they safe or harmful? While regulatory authorities have approved GM food that is on the market, some people are concerned that there is a risk of harm. Many foods we eat may contain ingredients derived from genetically modified organisms (GMOs). If you live in Europe, avoiding GM foods is easier, since laws require labeling. In the U.S. and Canada, however, food manufacturers are not required to label their food as genetically modified or not. Here are some guidelines for steering clear of GM foods in your diet, if that is your choice.

Never before in the history of mankind have we released so many dangerous mechanisms, untried and untested on humanity and the world. We who are in the know constantly rail against Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO’s). We are awake and aware, through our constant search for knowledge on this subject. We are also painfully aware that the science has no long term credibility. More research and studies are published daily proving the extreme and detrimental health affects these organisms have on humanity with the long term ramifications still unrealized, yet their proliferation continues and accelerates.
The secret of Putin’s overarching appeal is actually quite simple: If you hate America’s dominance in global affairs and all that goes with it (liberal economics, gay rights, endless reruns of The Simpsons), you’ll probably find something to love in the operative in the Kremlin. Chinese Communist Party? Too dull. Iranian ayatollahs? Too religious. The Venezuelans, the Belorussians, the Sudanese? Not serious. But Putin’s Russia - what’s not to like?
Populists love Putin. Venezuela’s President Nicolas Maduro touted Putin for the Nobel Peace Prize. Argentina’s President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner has praised the Russian president for his policies on the media and his inclusion of Crimea into the Russian territory again (grand success!) based on the results of the Crimea referendum. Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban’s speech last summer showed the virtues of “illiberal democracy,” by which he apparently meant a form of “soft” authoritarianism based on majority consent — something like the Russian and Turkish versions of autocracy underpinned by periodic elections. 'Putinmania' is a phenomenon at once broad and diffuse. In Britain, both English nationalist Nigel Farage and Scottish nationalist Alex Salmond have over-shared about their feelings for the Russian leader. Putin garners sympathy from the far right (France’s Marine Le Pen) and the far left (Alexis Tsipras, the new Greek prime minister and leader of the anti-austerity Syriza party). In the United States, his apologists range from has-been Hollywood stars to liberal college professors to homophobic conservatives." Prepare to read the story about what is going on now in Kiev. The beginning is intriguing by itself.
"So, I spend the day in church. I get home, grab the computer and I discover all hell has broken loose in Ukraine. I don't even miss the North American news services. Interesting times! All Russia and NAF need to do is watch and wait. Poroshenko cannot let this go. Or all the oligarchs will do this! Seize the part of Ukraine... Haven't they already? “He was fighting to save his life to the very end, till he was completely burned up,” ![]() It seems that American economy is now close to this picture of the soldier who was unsuccessfully fighting for his life. People need to understand the difference between Capitalism and Corporatism. Corporations and the wealthy have the welfare state in the United States... Loopholes for the rich, lobbying for corporations and special interests... What is left for "WE THE PEOPLE"? May be it is time to consider the wealth and "welfare" of Scandinavian nations that heavily invest in education and health, while everybody paying high taxes? The astronomical prices of medical bills in USA are staggering... by ANTHONY T SMITH Dirty tricks are those political maneuvers that go beyond mere negative campaigning. They involve the secret subversion of an opponent’s campaign via outright lies, spying, or any other tactic intended to divert attention from policies in an underhanded or unethical way. At their best, dirty tricks erode the public’s conference in the political system, and at worst they can cost lives. Below are some of the most notorious dirty tricks in the history of US politics. 10. JFK Turns Up The Heat ![]() On June 8th 1967, Israel deliberately attacked the spy ship USS Liberty that was off the coast of Gaza on a supposedly a spying mission which in reality was a death sentence by the Johnson administration for the USS Liberty and its entire crew. A plan was hatched by the Israeli intelligence with the CIA-NSA for a false flag operation to blame Egypt for the destruction of the USS Liberty and punish Egypt for its alliance with the Soviets who were planning to take control of the Suez Canal isolating Israel and cutting off its life support from the American 6th fleet. The punishment was in the form of 2 nuclear bombs, one to hit Cairo and the other to hit Alexandria. |
