Experience
PRESIDENT/OWNER/OPERATOR/PROPERTY MANAGEMENT
www.rentflorida.weebly.com
October 2011 – Present (3 years 4 months) Fort Myers, FLORIDA, USA
I myself manage our two vacation rental condos, advertising, taking phone calls, receiving emails, payments, and writing contracts, contacting HOA's in our beautiful communities to get rental approvals for renting our properties in south west Florida (on the shores of the Gulf of Mexico). See our website - www.rentflorida.weebly.com which is linked to Tripadvisor/Flipkey, advertising our pages for international customers (on 7 languages, 7 countries).
Also I RESEARCH SOCIAL NETS and I am contributing member of Linkedin, Facebook, OK.RU, i-netradio.com (was recently interviewed a few times), Voice of Russia (read my interview on this link http://sputniknews.com/voiceofrussia//expats-8/). This was a big project of interviewing Americans who lived in Russia for more than 10 years and Russians who lived in America for more than 10 years. They expressed interesting opinions about both countries (in comparison), the differences in their traditions, cultures and way of life.
Owner of www.rentflorida.weebly.com
South West Florida Vacation Rental Condos
September 2011 – Present (3 years 5 months) Fort Myers, Florida Area and Kenosha, Wisconsin area
I am middle aged white Christian woman, honest, intelligent, university-educated, reliable and responsible, speaking fluently English, Russian, Esperanto languages and understanding many more Eastern European languages. I was also an artist, who did many artworks before immigration to USA in 1992. Now I'm a naturalized USA citizen. I worked as an accountant clerk at Vista Int in Kenosha; occasionally helped a few elderly Americans to survive at home.
In October 2011, after we purchased two condos/townhouses in Southwest Florida (in coastal Gulf of Mexico communities) and invested in repair, remodeling and furnishings, I started advertising our Vacation Rental condos with the help of my talented teenage children (then 11 and 13 y.o ) who built the website www.rentflorida.weebly.com, and of my husband - handyman who could do all the work needed to prepare the condos for vacation rentals.
Now I am responsible for everything: advertising the properties, talking and corresponding with potential renters, making contracts, collecting checks/payments, paying Florida's tourist taxes, preparing all the forms for income taxes, finding repairmen for our two properties in case the need arises (and it already happened a few times), etc. This takes a lot of my time, energy and effort, so I could say that I am now a full time real estate professional.

ESPERANTO SPEAKER/TEACHER/PROMOTER
VIVU ESPERANTO!
1983 – Present (32 years) Kenosha, Wisconsin, USA - contemporary
Mi uzas Esperanton kaj disvastigas ĝin.
ESPERANTO is the most widely spoken constructed international auxiliary language. Its name derives from Doktoro Esperanto ("Esperanto" translates as "one who hopes"), the pseudonym under which L. L. Zamenhof published the first book detailing Esperanto, the Unua Libro, on July 26, 1887. Zamenhof's goal was to create an easy-to-learn and politically neutral language that transcends nationality and would foster peace and international understanding between people with different regional and/or national languages. Nowadays Esperanto is seen by Esperantists as an alternative to the all-in-English spreading in the world. Esperanto is found as an ethical solution (for the threat about the cultural and linguistic diversity related to the expansion of English) as well as an economical alternative (for foreigners the learning of Esperanto is much easier than the learning of English). Estimates of Esperanto speakers range from 10,000 to 2,000,000 active or fluent speakers. Esperanto has a notable presence in over a 100 countries. Usage is highest in Europe, East Asia, and South America. Esperanto congresses have been held in various countries every year (since 1905) with the exception of years in which there were world wars. Although no country has adopted Esperanto officially, Esperanto was recommended by the French Academy of Sciences in 1921 and recognized in 1954 by UNESCO. In 2007 Esperanto was the 32nd language that adhered to the "Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Esperanto is currently the language of instruction of the International Academy of Sciences in San Marino. There is evidence that learning Esperanto may provide a superior foundation for learning languages in general, and some primary schools teach it as preparation for learning other foreign languages. On February 22, 2012, Google Translate added Esperanto as its 64th language. Esperanto is not the official language of any country.

Translation is a much needed activity in modern times. It bridges the gap between different worlds, different cultures and different mentalities. It unites people and helps them find common language and common vision. I and my husband can work with written materials in English, French, Esperanto or Russian languages, ensuring that the translated version conveys the meaning of the original as clearly as possible. The target language is usually Russian or English. We also can provide interpretation services.
We can work freelance from home, either for translation agencies or directly for clients on: scientific, technical, commercial, literary, legal and educational documents.
The translation process usually involves a combination of the following:

Accounting Clerk
Vista International, Kenosha WI
September 1995 – October 1997 (2 years 2 months) Pleasant Prairie, WI
I was working in the field of cost accounting and helped the controller with filling some financial forms (based on my profound knowledge of financial accounting and work experience while working as controller-chief accountant for the research organization of the Department of Transportation of the U.S.S.R. in Moscow, Russia).
Cost accounting is a type of accounting process that aims to capture a company's costs of production by assessing the input costs of each step of production as well as fixed costs such as depreciation of capital equipment. Cost accounting will first measure and record these costs individually, then compare input results to output or actual results to aid company management in measuring financial performance. While cost accounting is often used within a company to aid in decision making, financial accounting is what the outside investor community typically sees. Financial accounting is a different representation of costs and financial performance that includes a company's assets and liabilities. Cost accounting can be most beneficial as a tool for management in budgeting and in setting up cost control programs, which can improve net margins for the company in the future. Cost accounting is helpful in making a number of business decisions. By weighing the actual costs versus the anticipated benefit, cost accounting can help a company to avoid launching a product with no real market, prevent the purchase of unnecessary goods and services, or alter the current operational model in a manner that will decrease efficiency. Whether utilized to evaluate the status of a department within the company or as a tool to project the feasibility of opening new locations or closing older ones, cost accounting can provide important data that may impact the final decision.
Teacher of ESPERANTO LANGUAGE
Central House of Culture, Science and Technology (ul.Volhonka 13 in Moscow, RUSSIA)
September 1988 – August 1991 (3 years) Moscow, Russian Federation
I was teaching Esperanto Language to the group of students of different ages and also participated in Esperanto CLUB which was working in the same educational facility (ul. Volhonka 13, Moscow). In addition, I was teaching Correspondence course of Esperanto. Occasionally I met foreign Esperantists at Moscow airports and brought them to our Esperanto club and helped them to get into their hotels.
As Igor Alexander Stephenson- Stepanous remarkably wrote in his profile, I also consider myself an accomplished linguist. I can also negotiate deals and provide good results. I have no language barriers, active and productive, with good communication skills (I would say that can easily "break the ice" with people). I believe that no task is too complicated and no challenge is too hard to achieve. Sometimes there are obstacles but these can be overcome by being positive. Tasks are to be met but if not achieved then just carry on. Networking and communication are the keys to success. If you cannot motivate yourself there are others to motivate you. Losing is a form of learning, communication is there to be used and be silent in despair. The chance is there for everybody and the 'oyster' is big enough for everybody to share. Success is not an overnight thing, it happens gradually. Experience is gained from trying, never giving up and by learning from mistakes. A mistake is only a mistake - if you don't learn from it.
Economist
Ministry of Railways of USSR
1982 – 1987 (5 years) Moscow, Russian Federation
I was working in Department of Labor and Payments of the Ministry of Railways. The Russian Railways (RZD) operate over 86,000 km (53,000 mi) of common carrier routes as well as a few hundred kilometers of industrial routes, making it the second largest network in the world exceeded only by the United States. The Railways also are one of the largest companies in the world employing 950,000 people and is also a monopoly within Russia. My responsibility was collecting economic information from 32 railroads of the USSR, analyzing it and making report for the head of the department. Improvements and new technologies in railways could become the locomotive of Russian economic development. Moreover, railway transport could help Russia occupy an important place in the global economy as a necessary link in the international transport chain connecting Asia and Europe. RZD is already involved in a large UN project to develop the land transport infrastructure in Asia especially the Trans-Siberian branch of the Trans-Asian corridor. The renaissance of the Trans-Siberian Railway on a new technical base can only benefit the countries of the Asia–Pacific region, the EU, and Russia.

CERTIFIED FAMILY HERBALIST
May 2005 – Present
I can do research and give advice on the use of the medicinal or culinary herbs (I have "Family Herbalist Certificate"). For, example, not many people know that Oregano has a large amount of antioxidants in its oil and leaves. It has 42 times the antioxidants as a medium sized apple, 30 times more than a white potato and 12 times more than an orange. If you feel a cold coming a fresh piece of ginger in a hot cup of Indian tea usually does the trick of curing the cold. Nutmeg flavours Middle Eastern lamb dishes, in addition to its common use as a condiment in sweet, spicy dishes — pies, puddings, custards, cookies and spice cakes. Rosemary contains substances that are useful for stimulating the immune system, increasing circulation, and improving digestion. Fennel seeds (light green oval shaped) have been known to posses digestive qualities. In India, they are roasted, sometimes lightly coated with sugar and eaten after meals as a mouth freshener and to stimulate digestion. Dill seeds have anti-flatulent properties and is used in “Gripe Water” that relieves stomach pain in babies. Clove oil has a lot of medicinal value. Many Indians chew on cloves to relieve toothaches and it is used also as a mouth freshener after a meal. Chives have beneficial effect on the circulatory, digestive and respiratory systems. Rosemary is often used in aromatherapy to increase concentration and memory, and to relieve stress. Thyme fights several disease causing bacteria and viruses. It is a good digestive aid, helps menstrual cramps and is a great cold remedy. It is used to treat chest and respiratory problems including coughs, bronchitis, and chest congestion. Thyme is an excellent source of iron, manganese, and vitamin K. It is also a very good source of calcium and a good source of dietary fiber. Turmeric has been known to have antiseptic properties. RESEARCHING THE THEORY OF ORIENTAL BELLY DANCE
December 2004
The Essence of Belly Dance: IT IS
1) Rooted in the culture of the Middle East (with tribal variations).
There are certain qualities that, if missing, make belly dance not belly dance. Connection to ME/Arabic culture or representations of it is key. That connection is expressed in the dancer's choice of music as well as her attitude in performance.
2) "Yin" energy
The essence of the dance can be described as "feminine" in the sense that it is "soft," "vulnerable," "emotional," "delicate," "coy," "flirty," and/or other adjectives that are typically not recognized as desirable masculine qualities in most societies.
3) Expressive of emotions
The emotionality is held and expressed predominantly in the torso.
4) Controlling the release of energy, never letting it all fly loose at once.
There is some reserve, in that the energy is held internally to some degree and the dance is as pleasurable for the dancer as it is for the audience. Not so much energy blasting out, but energy passing through and resonating out. Like the body is a resonance chamber for the music and the emotional contents carried with it. Lebanese and Turkish dancers are quite different. Belly dance can be assertive and often is but it's not aggressive.

Piano-Accordion (practical course of instruction for the beginners)January 2015You might think that playing the accordion requires extensive knowledge of musical notation. But guess what? It actually doesn't. So if you're a beginner, and would like to find out more about how to play the accordion, I can help at the beginning and then will refer you to our experienced piano- accordion music teacher who started teaching our two children and me since 2005.
Piano Accordions. These are the most popular kinds, with the power of a regular piano in a highly portable size. They have between 25 and 45 piano style treble keys on the right hand. On the left, they are equipped with a bass-chord keyboard. This accordion system is called the stradella, and typically has 120 brass buttons.
1. Get the right kind of accordion.
2. Familiarize yourself with the instrument's structure. Your accordion is composed of several parts, all crucial to the accordion's sounds: Melody Keys on the keyboard part of the instrument.
Bellows (the folds on the instrument that allow it to expand and contract). Harmonic, Base, Air Valve. These buttons provide air to escape, adjusting the tone of sound. Right Hand Strap. This is the main strap of the instrument that allows you to secure it onto your chest.
3. Use the right size. Children and teens or adults will need to start off with different sizes due to the difference in hand and general body size. Children should start with the lowest number of bass buttons, 12 bass and 25 treble keys. Teens and adults should start with a 48 bass accordion. This amounts to 48 bass and 26 treble keys. The 48 bass Piano Accordion is very light weight, and easy to use and handle.
4. Place your accordion on your chest with the key buttons facing away from you. The rest you can start learning even by watching u-tubes instructions for free or hire accordionist :-)
